Autoshowcase
When we launched Autoshowcase, we wanted it to feel like an interactive, informative brochure, personalized to whichever car you might be looking at on Carvana.com. We needed unique assets to represent each broad category of features—specific enough to show the functionality, but generic enough to represent all vehicles, everywhere.
I led the illustration direction from initial concept to final delivery, developing a distinctive visual language that translated complex ideas—such as advanced safety features and highly specific product functionalities—into clear and concise visuals. Each illustration was designed not only to communicate effectively, but also to reinforce brand recognition through ownable assets tailored specifically to Carvana’s identity.
That resulted in a minimal style that balanced technical precision with bursts of warmth—serious enough to reflect the subject matter, yet approachable and visually engaging. Beyond defining the tone and visual style, I worked closely with the product design and engineering teams to ensure each asset supported the user experience and integrated seamlessly into the product page.
